Frequently asked questions
What size should my app icon be?
Start from a square image of at least 1024×1024 px. iOS needs a 1024×1024 App Store icon plus the in-app sizes, Android needs 48–192 px launcher icons and a 512×512 Play Store icon, and the web needs 16, 32, 180, 192 and 512 px. This tool makes all of them from one file.
Why was my iOS app icon rejected for having an alpha channel?
App Store Connect rejects app icons that are transparent or contain an alpha channel. Most browser and design-tool exports add one even when the image looks opaque. The iOS and Expo icons from this tool are written as RGB PNGs with no alpha channel.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The icons are drawn and zipped in your browser. Your image never leaves your device.
